like to thank the following Gold Sponsors:
We would like to publicly acknowledge our sincere gratitude to the following businesses and professional bodies
for their financial support, without which we simply could not run the Tasmanian Science Talent Search.
TSTS would
also like to thank the following additional sponsors:
The topic for
TSTS 2010 is 'Australian Biodiversity'
|
Birds to bilbies, dung beetles to dugongs…. study the wide and exciting biodiversity of our country.
The Examiner Newspaper has just commenced (Tues Sept 29) a 4-part series in their Newspaper in Education feature entitled “Counting Down Nature’s Treasures”
for Grades 5-10, beginning with “What is Biodiversity?” , to be followed by “Why is Biodiversity Important?” on Tues October 13.
Teachers may find these to be a valuable
resource for ideas to start planning a unit for next year. |
